Description
A creamy, crustless quiche that combines the bold flavors of Mississippi Sin dip with eggs and cheese. It’s a quick, protein-rich brunch dish perfect for using up holiday leftovers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups diced ham
- 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
- 0.5 cup sliced green onions
- 1–2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan or baking dish.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp, drain on paper towels, cool, and crumble.
- Dice ham into small, uniform cubes.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and frothy.
- In a separate bowl, combine diced ham, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, and green onions.
- Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese mixture, stirring gently to combine. Add hot sauce.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use room temperature eggs for better blending. Do not overbake; the center should still jiggle slightly as it will firm up while resting. For a lighter version, substitute half the heavy cream with milk or almond milk. Ensure ingredients are gluten-free if necessary.
