A quick and easy breakfast casserole made with pre-made crescent rolls, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a tangy cream cheese glaze. It offers the taste of homemade cinnamon rolls without the rising time.

- 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2–3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Press the crescent roll dough into a single rectangular sheet in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until combined.
- Pour the cinnamon butter mixture over the dough and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- While baking, whisk softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with the cream cheese glaze.
- Cut into squares and serve warm.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth glaze. Do not overbake to keep the rolls soft. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
